I thought people might enjoy a few pics that I scanned recently. I believe they're from 1993, but I can't say for sure. They were taken with a very cheap camera, but some of them are actually not bad.
Quick background; myself and three of my friends all bought bikes in 1991, and by this time, I was on my second bike. My buddy here has an Alpinestars Cro-mega LX, and this is after it had been stripped by thieves. He decided to replace all the parts (rather than buy a new bike) so it's got a Mag20 (or Mag21 maybe, I don't remember), XTR cranks, Syncros BB, a Fisher Evo stem, and Scott bars.
And this is me and my '91 Rocky Mountain Nimbus. It had a Manitou fork, 3D violet Ringle skewers and a matching Bubba front hub, OnZa barends, Ritchey Logic and XT bits. And my beloved Etto helmet.
We were "extreme." And when I say "extreme," I mean "lucky to not break anything."
My other two friends had a GT Tequesta with the Nimbus paint, and a Tech Pro. I restored the GT recently, but the Tech was stolen at some point. I think my friend has some pics, I'll ask him and scan them too.
