94 Manitou 4 question

i received my new elastomer set today and enclosed were 18 elastomers i have to take the fork a part again tommorow as i have 2 from the bottom leftover does the bottom take 2 per side or 3 ? i though i was given 2 extra in the kit but now im thinking it takes 3 per side , im thinking pull off retainer clip & slide one on and re instal clip then 2 more? im asking as the elastomers i took out were basically liquid/

If I remember correctly 2 go below the bottom of the stanchion and 1 on the bottom in the stanchion.
