92 Zaskar paint info?

Here is my new (to me) Zaskar , serial number says 06-92 but I have not seen any 92's with this color , does this color look familiar to anybody for a 92 Zaskar? It's a 20"

99.9% certain that is a re spray. nice frame! if mine, i would strip and polish it, and put the 92 decals on it

Thanks, I think I am going to like it, it's very responsive to pedal input and seems well balanced. I just got it together last night after swapping the mediocre parts out for better stuff. So far it has only seen the park across the street where I run my Shepperd. Chemical strip? The paint looks better in person than in the photo, as a rider I am more thinking touch up paint with a rattlecan shot of clear enamel over the top.

yeah i would think chemical, if you blasted it then the natural ball burnish finish underneath might be compromised.

its interesting to see on yours the cable stops and guides seem to have not been painted, or masked off

the 91 and 92 are the best of the Zaskar i think. I would like one myself in preference to the 95 i have.

I had my old steel Karakoram painted Zaskar blue. Always get comments on how 'slim' the Zaskar frames are, until I explain.
