92 Mantis Flying V

Old School Hero
92 Mantis Flying V. Mombat rescue. This is a second generation model with the Mantis name stamped in the side. It supposedly stiffened up the frame a bit and in my humble opinion looks a much better than a sticker. I have wanted this bike sense I saw it on the cover of MBA. I am pretty stoked to finally own one.

Re:

Excellent ride, very stiff, responsive and quick in the corners, but still stable at higher speeds. I would have killed for this bike bike in high school when we used to terrorize Moab. I love the cable routing. It just needs a plug in for an amp

Re:

I still need to change out the front brakes and add new break pads, but it is almost there. The Scott self energizing breaks work very well in the rear.

Re:

I couldn’t help but add the onza ti bar ends. If anyone needs retro stickers let me know and I will point you in the right direction.
