92 Lava Dome ... slowly getting back some pride

Dirt Disciple
Between 1996 & 2010 MY '92 Lava Dome had mud guards fitted, a cushioned seat, a padlock coiled round her seat post and fitted with a bell. I found her underneath my ex-B-in-Law's lawnmower, roof box & ladders - him being the guilty party for 14 years of neglect etc. She's since been stripped and is being "restored" on a budget (just in case divorce lawyers demand her return ;-) ).

Today she is sliver because I have many rattle cans of Silver in the garage.

Testing what '97 decals would look like (just print outs) Going to re-fit the original P2s painted black for contrast with the silver.

I know I've got hours of flattening and polishing and more coats + laquer .... but what's the opinion on '97 decals on Silver with black P2s?

If that is a 1992 as the title suggests, even on a budget and with silver paint rather than purple I still think that 1992 decals would look best.

Agreed, the decals look too small for the size of the frame.
