Dirt Disciple
New to me tubeless tires, new/old tubeless tire, aluminium rims. Caught two OBWOBs (Old Boys WithOut Bikes) in deep enchantment, ogling my ride. Both said they had 10-speeds in their youth but had abandoned them long, long ago. I recognised the look ... In dabbing daubs of fingernail polish on the frame's nicks and scrapes I detected a noticeable absence of rust - confirming, I think, my speculation about it being made with Columbia alloy steel. Slightly heavier than the similarly kitted-out, '61 Claud Butler road bike I have with a Reynolds 531 steel frame.
