This thing is absolutely beautiful and rides like a dream - only just built it up over the last few weeks and it’s just surplus to requirements - someone else can enjoy!!
I built it as a complete antidote to modern carbon, integrated cables, etc - I wanted something that would be very easy to maintain, be really robust and all components would be easy and cheap to replace - but to top it off, it rides fantastic too - it's lovely and light and flies along!
The frame is fillet brazed Columbus Nemo tubing with a Columbus Muscle carbon rear end - it’s a 56.5cm top tube and 57cm seat tube measured centre to top of tube. Paint is lovely - it's got a few blisters and scratches but the paint is original and doesn't need a respray (original owners name has been lightly scratched away on the top tube - it's covered with a carbon sticker in the pics but that's now removed and tbh it looks ok)
Brand new Condor Columbus forks, fully chromed (these cost me £300 on their own!)
Brand new Stronglight headset
Brand new TRP RRL brake levers
Brand new (NOS) Ultegra bar end shifters
Shimano Ultegra 6500 rear mech
Dura Ace 7400 front mech
Brand new Shimano 11-30 cassette
Brand new Stronglight Impact compact chainset, 34-50 and 172.5mm with VP bottom bracket
Brand new Genetic stem
Level seatpost
Ultegra 6700 hubs on DTSwiss rims
The bike rides like new - the drivetrain is running perfect - the frame has a few blemishes but nothing serious.
I've spent more than the asking price just on the new parts shown above so this is a bit painful to sell, but I've got some gravel events lined up and need a bike for those - hence the sale
No saddle, bottle cages, mudguards or pedals included
£725
Apologies for poor pics - not had a chance to get it outdoors to take some more!
