If you are looking at this then you probably know something about Cyfac already - they are a french artisan framebuiler, famous for building frames for many of the stars of the 70's, 80's and 90's - Hinault, Fignon, Lemond all rode rebadged Cyfac frames back in the day - their heritage is amazing.
This frame, whilst it looks "retro", is actually a modern built frameset - it's their "Vintage" model, built to look retro but using bang up to date modern Columbus Spirit tubing and with an aheadset. The frame is absolutely beautiful and in great condition - almost no marks - I recently used it to ride from Lands End to JohnO Groats and used some frame bags, so made sure that I applied frame protection tape to keep the paint fresh - it really does pop in sunlight
The frame is 54cm square - top tube is 54cm centre to centre and seat tube is 54cm centre to top - I'm around 5'9" and it's set up for me in the photos.
The spec is as follows:
Hand-built Columbus Spirit frame and forks
Almost full Ultegra 11 speed groupset - carbon shifters, front & rear mech, brakes, BB, cassette (11-32)
Shimano 105 cranks, 34-50, 172.5mm - small amount of heel rub
Hope Pro 4 hubs (new bearings) built on H+Son rims
Canyon carbon "leaf spring" seatpost
Genetic AQ stem
Zipp SL70 bars
Very recent posh bar tape
Brooks C17 saddle
No pump, pedals, Garmin mount or bottle cages included
The ride quality on this is fabulous - the combination of the steel spring from such a nicely built quality steel frame combines with the leaf-spring seat post to make it super comfortable - I came through LEJOG (9 days, 1000 miles) with no back or bum pains - fabulous!
These frames are Eu3,000 to buy!
I'm only selling as I've got some gravel events lined up as the next challenge and need to get an appropriate bike - otherwise this would be going nowhere!
I'm after £1025 - collection in Cheshire or happy to post it
