Need to clean out the seatpost on a 2002 Cinder Cone from 27.0mm to 27.2mm, was wondering if anybody had access to a reamer they could hire to me for paypal tokens?
I'd try your friendly local bike shop if you get no response here.
Off topic a bit, but is this a safe thing to do? I'm cleaning my seatpost out of my cro mega as the seatpost was stuck and it left the residue of hte bond when it came out, but actually decreasing the thickness of the seattube is quite a change or am I just being stupid?
Hold some 180-grit abrasive paper around it and just turn it around with the saddle. I got a 27.2 down to 27.0 for my Marin steel frame in about half an hour like this.
