26" Mavic Crossmax XL Rear Wheel - Spares or Repair....







Details:

- Out of true
- Has a bent spoke
- Nipple at end of spoke is crooked
- Some blemishes on ceramic braking surface
- Finnish is worn off rim where brake pad has rubbed
- Paint chips on a few spokes.

* Bearings feel ok
* Freehub needs a clean and re-grease but seems to be working fine
* Decals can be replaced and re-positioned to cover brake rub marks on rim
* Replacement spokes available.

With a little work this wheel could be saved, or used for spare parts if you have another wheel that needs repairing.

Asking £40 posted.

Hey! Just found your link within another thread, about a crosslink wheelset.
I lost this "spacer" or what it is, and were hoping to find a replacement.
Do you know, if this wheelset, might work for me? or do you by any chance have just that piece?

Hi. Im not sure exactly what part your after or if the Crossmax axle is the same as the Crosslink one?

Ideally I would prefer to sell the whole wheel.

More than happy to try and help you fix yours, there may be a replacement axle assembly for it.

Looks like a washer of some sort, have you thought about measuring the axle and trying a standard washer?

I could try that! What shall i measure? the inside and outside diamtere?
