Bought this as a complete bike with the intention of using it as a donor or building it up with better kit, but plans changed and most the parts have drifted off, and as I have two other Oranges I'm working on this one won't get done.
'93 (I think...) 21", 1" fork, lovely orange paintwork in not bad at all condition - certainly touch-upable.
It belonged to the son of the guy I bought it off and there was a bit of a tragic tale....but in summary it hadn't seen many miles before being hung up in about '96 and not ridden since.
Somehow though in that time it has managed to pick up a teeny dent in the top of the downtube, directly under the bottom end of a bottle cage. its about a 'little' finger tip's worth in circumference from the edges of where it starts and maybe 1mm deep at the most, I rubbed the paint off to check it wasn't cracked and its not - but it means that bit needs touching up again. Photo makes it look worse that it is dent-wise as the paint is missing. At first I thought it was a bottle cage that had done it, as it was fitted with a Ringle and the "L" bend was trollied, but there is the slightest hint of a ripple on the underside of the same tube so I wonder if its been over clamped in a roof rack. Either way, hardly noticeable if you touch the paint up but damage is reflected in the price.
That said I've not a clue what its worth but a quick scout around makes me think £70 posted?

Re: clockwork orange frame

Hi There,

Would you consider posting to Australia?

I'm an English guy over here, trying to build up a British framed retro MTB.

Happy to discuss the logistics

Pete

Re:

I cant find any courier services that have an even modrately sensible price sorry, so while in principle I would be happy to I would never sleep at night charging someone the prices Ive been quoted!

Hey mate, no dramas. I might get it shipped to my brother in Liverpool and see if I can pick it up from him as I'm over in the UK later this year. I'll let you know once Ove chatted with him. Thanks.
