2007... Hope brakes

Got a 2007 Stumpy with SLX brakes that look like the calliper seals have gone, apparently not replaceable!!!

So why bother replacing them with another set that might go the same way? Anyone know what Hope brakes were around in 2007 or a couple of years later so that it will be roughly period upgrade?

Thank you. Done a quick google and they seem to hold their value well.

I'm now not so sure that's the way forward. One SLX brake was already on the frame I bought, the other I got for £18, so I guess I'm not massively out of pocket really. Have seen a set for £40 without rotors but not sure it's worth the risk in case the seller is a scammer or they aren't what they say they are as I wouldn't know a set of mono minis if they bit me on the arse!

Advice?
