Hi all, I'm normally here to talk retro MTB, but I'm staying into the other side, so be kind!
I'm selling my Pinarello Galileo from c. 2006/7. The frame was NOS when I acquired it from eBay a month or two ago. As such the frame has done less than 25 miles in 14 years and is therefore like new bar a couple of marks from storage.
The full Shimano Dura Ace 7800 groupset is in good used condition with plenty of life left in the chain, cassette and chain rings. Brake pads are brand new genuine items. I think it's arguably the best looking road group that Shimano has ever made!
The bike measures 57cm c-t but more like 56cm c-c. This is why I am selling as it is too small for me and I can't just hang it on the wall (much as it would look very pretty). It deserves to be ridden!
The finishing kit consists of a Thomson Elite stem and a Thomson Masterpiece seat post. Richey WCS alloy bars and brand new rubberised bar tape.
Saddle is an Enigma Titanium.
Wheels are Hope road hubs with what I think are Mavic alloy rims, although they don't have any stickers on them.
Brand new Continental Grandsport Race 28c tyres. Fast but comfortable!
Pedals not included.
I built this bike up myself and then paid for a professional set up in my local shop. I've ridden it once since and it is just too small for me and my bad back. As such I'm selling!
Collection only as I don't want to take it apart having just paid for the setup. If you want to send a courier that's fine, but the bike will travel as is.
Happy to meet you halfway up to 40 miles from Tetbury in Gloucestershire, or potentially Milton Keynes if I need to go to the office...
PayPal gift or add 4%. You can see I have great feedback and have sold several mountain bikes with happy customers!
Looking for £800. Reduced to £750 and will consider posting
