Picked this up super cheap off Gumtree this week. I’m pretty sure it’s mostly all original (nothing to get excited about really as these were pretty low spec when new), other than a decent SDG saddle on a 27.0 seatpost - think it should be 27.2.
The brake/shifter on the left is damaged and the whole bike is very grubby but completely solid. I’m thinking about doing something a bit different with this one - no point making it original after all. Maybe a 1x or even single speed drivetrain, hopefully some better forks too.. Thoughts/ideas welcome, watch this space!

Frame and original wheels cleaned up a treat already, will go over the frame with some t-cut next to get it as good as possible.

Received the tyres I ordered and put those on the wheels, also tried the manitou mars elite forks which I had. I’m liking the direction this is going in, still undecided on drivetrain but will experiment with bars and saddles and then go from there with whatever suits.
