2000 Porsche S-Bike

Couldn’t resist a little bounce along some local green lanes. All very calm, everything working. Didn’t fancy the water feature though😬 D24BFFFB-0B68-4DF6-83E0-750E64085CB3.jpeg 8CBC20B8-D976-49B2-B799-6CF31898C3C3.jpeg

How do you like the dropper?
Works really well actually, not that I needed it today. Simple and easy to operate although I think you’d need to be pretty slick and extra confident to use it on the fly!

Ok hello… seems like I’ve found some friends! @yakboy we need to chat Vw too….
So I added a new addition to my heard this week ( red bike S) 98 elastomer shock , grip shift, XT seems stock apart from tyres and seat.
Great to see another satin white one with air shocks. They all seem to be small frames which is odd. And yes @Peachy! i too feel your pain of grubby fingers! I’ll look into getting some of the product you recommended.
I also have a Bike R that has the original tyres and seriously has done a few km since new.
I have a copy of the Porsche factory workshop manual that has all the services and rebuild guides for air shocks.. and pretty much everything else that’s odd on these bikes. Hit me up if you’d like a copy.

not sure what they were smoking when the chose the colour scheme for this model. Purple satin and yellow! but you see it in person and it’s amazing!

Bike S x2 is interesting to see the pair next to each other. The white Bike S is like dirt jumper geometry and suspension , has off road gearing.
The Red Bike S is more lowered and sporty (red goes faster) has faster gearing.
really looking forward to riding the red one, I restored the white one and is too clean/new and lovely to take out and get dirty! The Bike R too original.
The red bike is great and used to will be put to work. (Ask again in 6 months time)
