20" wheeled child's Road Bike

Many thanks to this forum's Tiermat who not only sold me this lovely little steel-framed bike for my Daughter, but kindly delivered it to my colleague in York before it's long journey down to the West Country, much appreciated.

After a little work, it now looks like this and is the absolute pride and joy of my little 6 year old girl who will be using it for her under-8 racing next season:

I just got my youngest (7yrs) a mountain bike and she loves biking.

WOW! It does not look like the same bike, well I suppose apart from the F&F and headset it isn't!

Glad to see your little girl enjoying it.

That it so cute That is the coolest bike I have ever seen a child ride.

Glad you like it, although I do agree it's a bit of a "triggers-broom" That said, it's now surprisingly light, and the wheels are feather-weight so spins up incredibly quickly.

The bike will get it's first race tomorrow at the Castle Combe Festival of Cycling, my Daughter can hardly wait! Just hope I got the gearing right for her, or I will be in big trouble :roll:
