I'm looking for any help about my impulse ebay buy and my first retro road bike. It's a Raleigh Veloce with a 500ex groupset and I just love the paintwork. I've added the only picture I have as I haven't picked it up yet. I paid £100 which seemed ok to me?
Would anybody know the year and if it was a good bike when new?
It's going to be used to commute on so what are my options regarding sticking a modern set of wheels on it and maybe sti shiters as have spares in the garage? Also will the stem be 1 inch quill?
