1st post ever - Alpinestars Al-Mega XT build

Storm1976

Dirt Disciple
Just started the build. This is going to be work/around town bike. Right now I'd like to have the entire bike to have a chrome/silver finish except for the wheels, tires and saddle. Not sure what I'm going to do about the fork, its steel, but I'm not sure if I want to keep it black or try and figure something out to get it silver or buy a new fork (which I woul prefer not to do). Still needs a chain and rear cog.

Frame: Alpinestars Al-Mega XT
Stem: Thomson
Seatpost: Thomson
Bar: Litespeed titanium
Brake Levers: Avid
Headset: Ritchey
Grips: Odi
Saddle: Bontrager
Tires: Schwalbe Fat Franks
Front Wheel: Mavic X130 with Deore Disc hub
Rear Wheel: Mavic CrossRide Ceramic
Crank: Ritchey
Chainring: Salsa
Rear Brake: Ritchey
Front Brake: Avid BB7

Anyways, let me know what you you think. I love these bikes. I've got a couple of other e-stays I'll be building up over the next few months.

Hah, these bars are staying with me for life. A lot of these parts have been hanging around waiting for the right frame...and then came the Al-Mega.

What's the best way too reduce my picture sizes?

I'll tell you how to reduce pic sizes, for a chance to have them bars off you...

Seriously tho... Microsoft should have a downloadable programme for resizing pics.

I use one on XP, which is really good. One-click resizing..
