Re: Our Jimmy’s Marinated in Ritchey sauce (Pa & Son MM20 build)

Today we discovered the following;

Cheap as chips Avid V brake levers weigh 151g

And that XTR M950 V brake levers weigh 169g (but you can feel the quality)

And the no brand V brakes are 396g

Whilst the XTR M951’s are 394g! They don’t quite balance the books do they? Never mind, XTR it is….

So far we have;

And in old money; 1lb 7oz so technically just taking us back under 30lb....just :roll: :facepalm:

Re: Our Jimmy’s Marinated in Ritchey sauce (Pa & Son MM20 build)

Last (I promise) but not least… the tyres & tubes….

The Maxxis UST tubeless “Medusa” weighed in at 650g each and the regular tubes inside them another 196g on top!
Replacing them with the Ritchey WCS 1.9 Z-Max evolutions (460g) combined with a Schwalbe lightweight tube (137g) has netted us the biggest saving by far at nearly half a Kilo…
