1999 Kona Stab Dee-Lux

Back after many year and with another build 2 infact but thats to follow.

I never really liked the Kona stab dee-lux but its grown on me and I saw this one on gumtree and got it for $300AUD, forks are minty frame has some paint wear due to it sitting in a beachside suburb for like 15 years.

I am after Kona DH Stem and Bars, Kona Seatpot and SDG Bigboy saddle, Id love the chain guide but Im sure its the hardest part of the bike to find.

I actually really liked them when they came out. Was seriously thinking of getting one but ended up being offered a ride on a shop team on a Muddy Fox which eventually fell through, which resulted in me buying my first M1. Strange how things work out sometimes

Looking forward to seeing more of this, and curious to see what your other bike is too

Super Monster, always wanted to try a set of those, running loads of sag obviously

No, they're just standard 2004 Monsters, which are now also sold but I do still have a 2003 set on my Banshee (you can just see them on the left of the picture). I keep meaning to strip it down and sell it too but I think I'm too attached to it, despite it being totally redundant

Never tried super monsters but I would assume they ruined the handling of any bike they were on!
