1999 Kona Caldera Rigid Forks?

Hi guys,

I have a 1999 Kona Caldera (the orange one) and I'm looking to stick some rigid forks on it.
Anyone have any ideas about the correct axle to crown length I should be looking for? Or suggestions on forks?
Cheers.
Tony

Re:

Hi Tony,

I would fit a pair of Kona Project Two forks with an Axle to Crown measurement of 410mm.

These are easy to find and would think that the Black finish would suit your Caldera.

I noticed that the 1999 Catalogue lists the Caldera with a P2 option, and I have read that this was a colour match OEM version. A quick google search revealed more than one result. You could always buy a couple of Decals, and get a pair of P2s painted ;) .

Re:

Cheers Pip,
The colour match p2s look a bit weird in my opinion. Got to be black.
I've been keeping my eye out for a threadless set of p2s but there's not many about. Hopefully someone on here will have a spare set.
Cheers

I run eXotic carbon ones on my Kona Kaboom - the same weight as TB P2s but a little more comfortable at taking out trial buzz.
