Updated Spec/Pictures on Page 3

This project was born out of having a tidy Trek 8700 that I was wanting to strip down the frame and polish up, but then along came an opportunity to grab a rare 1996 Litespeed Tellico, (the first bikes to be made out of 6Al/4V Titanium), back when they were made by Lynskey.

I am intending to move over most of the stuff from my Trek and make that my missus's bike. See full spec below. I am going rigid for now (Bike should be approx 18.xxIbs then) and may get some SID's or some such in the future (Sub 19.5Ibs)

Looking to make this a John Mayor bike (i.e All Ti Grey/XTR grey with Black Ano or Carbon) stealth, the only colours come from the original decals.

This reminds me...

I could've had one of these; the chinese delivery guy was making his rounds on one; the litespeed and tellico decals were gone. He said I could have it in trade for an old stumpy that I picked up for around $100...I didn't have the heart. Oh well.

This reminds of my Litespeed I bought new as a frame in 97 and built up with Pace RC36EVO forks and some nice Ti components. Sold it on in around 2002 due to lack of use, but looking back I wish I'd held onto it.
I've got my eyes open for a replacement, so if you ever sell....

Nice frame, this come from Kase1983?

Good luck on hitting your target weight, be interested to see how it comes out.

I think the Tellico is an outstanding Litespeed frame considering the TiAl6V4 tubing. Compared with my Litespeed Obed, the tube diameter seems much larger. The fork is a nice addition to the frame! very nice!
