1996 kona lava dome.... Best forks?

Hello all

I have ridden this bike from new. And as I have reached the ripe old age of 40, I wouldn't mind popping a set of suspension forks on it. Retro would be ok ... And marzocchi bombers seem fav.

But

I want to reduce the reach and thought it might be just as easy to go for the whole hog... A- head stem and newer forks.

So Can anyone please recommend a fork that offers 80 mm travel, is v brake compatible and yet will be a head suitable.

I have a silver set on my 96 DeKerf.

+1 on a z2 or similar, marzocchis just seem to look right on Konas (to me at least)
