For sale: complete bike, 1995 Kili Comp, one owner from new. Mostly original, with some upgrades when things wore out. So, Tange Prestige MTB Concept frameset (the one with the ridged downtube) 17 inch seatpost and 22 inch top tube, silver with purple decals. Looks like the one in the 1995 brochure, but has different swept forward forks more like the 1994 bike. Original Deore XT rear mech and LX front mech. Deore LX cranks, but the two lower rings are non-Shimano replacements. Fitted with genuine XT V-brakes and LX shifters and brake levers. Mavic X517 SUP eyelleted rims on Parallax hubs. Original Ritchey Force Lite stem and bars on replacement Tioga headset. Unbelievably, it still has the original Kevlar tyres which hold air but now have zero grip on any surface! Although used on many classic mountain bike rides in the first five years, things gradually tailed off after that and in the last few years has only been used occasionally for shorter, easier rides (I'm old and I scare easily) and has not been looked after (it's dirty). Still, no serious dents or scratches and it is rideable, even if the gears are somewhat erratic. Could be overhauled or used for spares I guess. Situated in North West England, 2 minutes from the M6, I'll accept £50 or best offer - I'd rather not scrap it if it can be avoided.
