Nothing. It's all about the parts.

Lenker: bars
Vorbau: stem
Kurbel: crankset
Trettlager: BB
Sattelstutze: seatpost
Reifen: tires
Bremsen: brakes
Schaltwerk: shifters/rear derailleur
Umwerfer: front derailleur
Vorderradnabe: front hub
Hinterradnabe: rear hub

The forks on the photo are 1995 Rockshox Judy XC.

Ohhh, I like “Doppeldickendspeichen” for double butted spokes, I think I might have to use that... :D

Space is scarce in Germany. ;)

Reminds me of words like "Hauptsturmbannführer" (Grossgewalt) from Allo Allo.

Re:

I wonder what “stolen Madonna with the big boobies” is in German.

Thanks all. As suspected, forks not included

Re:

Would you take those over the Manitou Answer 4s. Know they are classic etc but the seals must be an issue and the weight !?

I have always been a Manitou guy - never bothered about Rock Shox. Originally Marin was 90% married to Manitou. Rock Shox on them were VERY rare. The Marin / Rock Shox combination became more common from 1995 onwards.
