Slow progress. Waiting for a different stem and rear mech and new brake pads..

Looking very good so far! Really like the paint job and it's rarity.
Why the choice of this shifter?

I love thumbshifters and wanted some period correct ones. These Ultegra bar-end shifters are from 1994..

Looking forward to seeing this completed. :D

I see your Rhygin, and raise you - a Rhygin!

Fantastic, coming along nicely.

I didn't realise the Rhygin that BoyBurning (Tom) posted is the one I mentioned in a previous post that I saw last year at Iconoclassic.

Definitely cool bikes and a great build here

Changes.... Changes.....

Allmost like I want it.

Needs a different headset (Chris King), seatpost (Campagnolo perhaps) and saddle (flite)..

Spectacular! A personal favorite of mine, these bikes. My LBS had one hanging around the upstairs museum several years ago. It wasn't my size, but....I wanted it bad! I went in a few years later, and it was gone. The last one I saw in the flesh was just down the street from my work-I was riding my '88 Cannondale and saw a dude commuting one one. I stopped and chatted to him about it, it was a trusted old friend to him. I was happy to see someone else still enjoying the old iron.

Enjoy!
