1994 GT Zaskar Aqua: new pics on page 9

Re:

AHHHH NO GIRVINS!!!

Thanks for all the positive comments, the build is starting to come together and I'm really pleased with it :D

That proshift rear mech is literally artwork but I don't think I could bring myself to spend £170 on one. That said, I have just spent £180 on brakes for the zaskar :?

Cheers, sean

Re:

Looking nice. What about a silver headset and silver seat post clamp to play off the race face cranks - which I agree look pretty nice. Is that a project 2 fork on the front?

the forks are cannondale, seat clamp is an original GT clamp so id rather keep it on the bike but i agree it needs brightening up a bit. im gonna see how it looks after ive fitted some amberwalls. would be ideal if charge splashbacks came in 1.95" ...anyone riding these tyres and can recommend them? unsure if a pair in 1.8" would be too skinny :?

anyone wanna fund some new stuff for my zaskar by buying some of my parts box spares? ;)

Re:

I use those Charge Splashbacks but 2.1 - why you want 1.8? :? You like 'em skinny like your jeans?

nah i dont do the whole fixie bike, skinny jeans, stretcher ear ring and vintage camera 'hipster' type thing

2.1" seem to chubby on a rigid and my foot catches the wheel sometimes when i turn corners.
