The story goes, this beautiful Colnago Master MTB frame was displayed in the Colnago booth at the1994 Chicago Bike show. A Chicago Colnago dealer purchased it and it was built up with primarily Shimano XTR components. After a few years of ownership and only a handful of rides it was sold to another Chicago bike shop owner who proceeded to display it in his shop for 20 plus years. I purchased it from him. It's in stunning condition and other than the seat and grips it's as it was when it was first built up. Colnago Master tubing and paint are just beautiful. It is tough to photograph and get a representation of the tube's diamond shape and paint detail. I ride it regularly on paved bike paths.

Purple Odessey Svelte pedals, Ringle QRs. The original Continental tires are in amazing shape compared to some of the aging I’ve seen on other tires of this era. Love the XTR seat post.

Only been on grass and road, but really well. Light, stiff. Road bike like. Good ergonomics. Xtr everything is silky smooth.

Absolutely beautiful. And stunning componentry in stellar condition! (And you must tell us your stock market secrets so we can have as much expendable play money as you must have...the dozen or so Kleins and now the exemplary Colnago and GT? I'm speechless!)

A few indoor shots that provide a different view.
