1993 Rocky Mountain Altitude - for Canada's Day!

i also attempted to mount a brodie fork brace on the mag21 but didn't have much luck sorting out how to mount the brakes. :? :(

Re:

Sure that's a Brodie brace, they are much higher at the front front for canti brakes. And have a B emblem on them.

Could be a Vbrake brace and someone using rockers on it?

 i know it's brodie brace, i did mention that in my post. i'm trying to figure out how it mount it properly. ;)

Re:

Infant were you really sure, just not seen one like it. It not right. It the wrong design and doesn't have the signature b logo on it.

I know MD made a similar style whoever they are, but still they had the raised canti hanger section.

there's a "b" logo on it, just can't see it that well. it's there under the "threaded" section of the guide. the cable stop may have been replaced with this threaded adjustable one on it.

Re:

Ah its the Rockin Rooster (and not the Rock Rooster), use it in conjunction with the brake booster and as the name suggests the rocker for the brakes (this was the Suntour Power hanger), it bolt the two together, like some Tektro ones, just cooler looking.

Here's mine for comparison

Bike looks great! I saw the kijiji ad, sent the guy a message but never heard back. It was hard to tell what condition the bike was in from the crappy picture.

yep, that one crappy pic wasn't much to go on. so i had asked him to provide more, and he updated his ad with them. still weren't the greatest to judge from. but saw the cranks, xtr bits and overall decent condition. so made the decision to take the chance and drove out to see it.
