1993 Kona but Kona what though🤔

My Kona senses said 93 straight away certain ways you look at the colour especially on the non drive side chainstay you can almost convince yourself it's maroon but it's more likely one of these.
Great project for someone on here.

Yes it does look more maroon than orange, though i think that is just some overspray making it darker.

Maybe maybe not, 2,3 years ago i got a 1989 Specialized Stumpjumper off ebay from London,.The unmistakable colours of green and pink were hidden with electrians tape to prevent it being pinched, people did stuff like this back then with bikes being nicked all the time.

Same here, (one of) my 1993 Rocky Mountain Altitude frames. Was rattle can black to hide it, under it was the original paint, still is

The frame had a few modifications, used with rack mounts for commuting and has expensive custom made legs for mag21 forks of which the owner past on a few details that he could remember.
