i've not long built this to pottle around the forestry tacks of wales.
it started with its original forks but coming down long downhill forestry tracks that tend to be very corrugated i quickly decided to fit some contemporary suspension forks and manitou seemed cheap enough because most have elastomers that have turned to junk (which mine had) so i decided to cast some new ones.

i cast them with Polytek 60A after finding the correct dimensions from various sources (the elastomers in mine were totally junk with no meaningful information left in them) i went with 60A after a guess made by someone else on an american forum, and this has worked out ok, i'm 105kg and i need to ride about one and a half turns from the max on the pre-load setting, without any pre-load they are a bit to supple for a heavy weight like me.

this was all done because i'm to tite to buy the elastomers from suspensionforkparts and the very expensive postage for some bits of urethane.
Elastomers for Manitou three mountain bike forks from 1993/4
elastomers -
25.4mm x 18mm with hole @ 4mm x 12 (6 per side)
rebound and top out are -
25.4mm x 22mm with hole @ 11.5mm x 4 (2 per side)
note -
if you want to add 1/2" to the travel you need to make 2 x 12.7mm top out buffers and add a 12.7mm elastomer to the suspension stack.
so far so good (about 100 miles so far) will keep people updated on the longevity of these homemade elastomers if desired.
