It looks great with a white Syncros fork! My 92 Blizzard has the same paint job but has the white Tange Struts (I need to find some time to restore and post it up!). Yes, there are definitely less of the black/white ones around so you are lucky to find one!
Unfortunately there are no public databases to search old Rocky serial #s. But Rocky Mountain may still have some old records, and there's some discussion on Rocky serial #s here:

My 92 Blizzard has a T9108xxxx and my 91 Blizzard has a I9011xxxx. Likely YYMMXXXX format for frame production.
If you can only keep one bike, I'd keep the 92 Blizzard - it's a classic rigid bike to have in the quiver. Sorry, but the Kona ain't anything special...yes, it might be more comfortable on the trails, but these are 2 very different bikes a decade apart. If you decide not to keep the rocky, I'm sure there would be a few people on the forum happy to take it off your hands! Heck I'd love that syncros powerlite fork for mine!
