I recently bought a 1991 Raleigh Ravine off Facebook Marketplace from a nice lady who lives near Newark.
She had the bike from new, and was very pleased it was going to an enthusiast, namely myself.
After paying £50 for it, and collecting on the same day, I brought it home, where its good company with my other bikes/projects.
On first inspection, it looked a hell of a lot more solid and tidy than my existing Ravine, which was a good thing, as that was a bit of a 50/50 as to whether I carry on with it or not.
I had to get a few bits swapped off my existing Ravine, and get a couple of others bought ready for getting it back to something like standard, such as a new Zoom stem, and some fresh tyres. A fresh saddle is left to come, but I will update when that happens.
I wont waffle too much, and I will let the photos do the talking..
Feedback welcome!
