This is gorgeous - and also love to see such an organized and neat place to work !

Here is the latest!

I realized that the bottom bracket I installed had a steel axle. Luckily I had a bag of several SYNCROS titanium bottom brackets and simply replaced the axle to an original 113mm titanium. Now, its all good and I can sleep well again.

Also, the new anodized 2nd Ringle H2O arrived and I finally got my very neat 31.8 XTR FD-M900. I also already took out the Ritchey Vantage Expert wheel set out of the shed. I am going to spoke the SYNCROS front hub in it soon!. This build is "almost" done I guess :)

Was this frame bead blasted and then polished on the tubes?
Looks amazing, also no man should have parts bins this nice...

Big update on the 1992 Marin Team Titanium: Tonight I finally completed the steerer tube surgery on the SYNCROS Powerlite forks.

When I bought it, the steerer tube was too short. Now I had 2 options: Get the old one out and press a new one in or extend the existing one.

I decided to leave the tube where it is since the steel has aged beautifully in the aluminium crown and is sturdy as hell. I had an extension machined in super high quality steel and welded it in:
