Hi all, I picked up this lovely clean Ascent locally a little while back and haven't done a great deal with it. Some of you may remember the eBay advert as it is in amazing condition and very original, however the original owner has very carefully added grease ports to the pedals, bb and hubs, which is an unusual but well meaning addition.
I'm having a bit of clearout and deciding what stays and what goes, but want to find out a bit more about this one before I decide it's fate.
I've done a bit of the old Googling combined with looking at the catalogues here and judging by the spec, I think it's a 1992 but I can't find and pictures of any others with the black 400LX cranks. The closest I can find it the Limited Edition in the 1992 catalogue on here, but that has different cranks and a slightly different colour scheme.
Is there anyone on here who remembers these from back in the day who can shed some light?
