1992 Diamond Back Axis Seatpost Diameter

Dirt Disciple
Hey lads!

I am going to get a '92 DB Axis frame soon, and by the time it arrives I would like to have the seatpost settled as well. The problem is, both the seller and I are clueless of its diameter. Does anyone maybe know?
So again, it is an Axis (not Apex!), from '92, this catalog has it on the 10th page: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/d/1 ... gue_RB.pdf
True Temper OX double butted tubing.

Should be above 29.4 mm according to this thread: http://forums.mtbr.com/diamondback/help ... 50691.html
But there was no specific answer here.

Thank you in advance!

Here's your answer
I also have one of them and I'm 100% certain it's 30.0. Is yours the black with the blue over the top with yellow diamond back decals

Thank you very much for your quick answer! It's grey with blue decals.

Re:

No problem, yours is the other colour, grey with blue pearl.
Mine is the original like the pic in your link although when I picked it up it was in a right state.
I had it blasted locally and tried to emulate the original paint. I used a satin black base then splashed it all over with a bright blue and waited till it went semi tacky. After this I put a rubber glove on both hands and grasped the frame all over to give the effect of a black and blue marble effect which when lacquered looks fantastic

This has just helped me solve the same problem.... I measure it at 30mm but wasn't sure as you never see them around.... If anyone has one for sale, let me know!
