i got a nice Trek 8000 bike standing here with a broken frame (has a crack half way throughout the seat tube above the bottom brake).
It's an 91 18 inch frame with white paint with these nice black sprinkles.
Since is adore the geometry and the finish of the frame (filed welds, every small stuff is bolted on) I would love to get on of these again.
Trek made this type of frame for at least 2 years. There were 6000er frames with a freaky yellow and I remember seeing black ones too.
So... enough with the chit-chat.
I'm looking for an 18inch Trek 8000 frame from 91 in white.
Alternative is a frameset with the same geometry and a fork. Since i got the fork in white from the broken frame, I would hate to give the new frame another color just to match fork and frame.
