Finally got round to cleaning it up. Logged nearly a couple of hundred miles on it in 2 weeks. The bridge was left in place at both chainstays and seatstays. Some slight scalloping of the chain stays was needed to be able to squeeze anything bigger than the 1.95 that’s on at the minute. I reckon it’d take a 2.1. This is by far the best handling retrobike I own. And that includes a FAT Ti.Did you need to take the rear stay bridge out?
I have a mint Yo.. would be interested in seeing what it’s like on 27.5... but ideally without angle grinding it!
