1991 Boulder Bicycles Defiant bike thread

Purchased this bike last week after it was posted in the eBay Market place watch. Thread here. I’ve never seen one of these in person before and pictures don’t do them justice. The attention to detail and Craftsmanship it’s pretty mind blowing. I can only imagine the man hours it took to build and paint just the frame. Stand by for more, but wanted to share a few pics.

Finally had some time to get a little more work done on the Boulder Defiant. Cable routing in this bike is pretty crazy

This thing is amazing. Honestly a modern full suspension subtle, stable floating ride feel. Risse shock is so nice. I’m blown away by the ride quality. Trail ride soon.

Those are cool. I have had these red striped wtbs for years and put them on as a placeholder.

Unbelievable first ride. So smooth over bumps. Not the greatest climber or fast pedaling in a straight line, but what a design for the early 90s. An absolute blast to ride.
