1990 Specialized Rockhopper Comp

I recently found this 100% original down to the tires, 1990 Specialized Rockhopper Comp in red, size 21.5". Nothing is working; the wheels are wobbly, the tires are shredded, the brakes don't move, the shifters don't work, the chain is rusty, and there is some severe sun bleaching... and underneath that is a 30 year old bike in relatively excellent condition. This bike has the Japanese made Deore LX group including hubs, cassette, front derailleur, rear derailleur, brakes, levers, shifters, pedals, and crank set. The headset, saddle, bottle cage, toe clips and straps, are Specialized and the BB is a Shimano with a Specialized spindle.

I'm gonna do a major overhaul and set her up as a commuter.

A few more pics of Specialized 1990 Rockhopper Comp in original condition with 100% original parts in very good original condition. Short a chain, tires, and saddle this bike just needs some cleaning and bearing repacking to function as new.

Any idea of the top tube length on this? I am due to pick one up (1990, advertised as) but it might be a touch big for me
