1990 Marin Eldridge outstanding condition SOLD!

So its hard but it has to go....My 1990 Marin Eldridge Grade...I have the Team and this just isn't getting ridden. I bought this from Chiswick Collectables (Craig) from here about 6 months back and I can say it is in stunning condition! The zolatone is in pristine condition, really clean and also the forks/stem/bars are stunning. The original wolber rims show very little signs of wear and have yet to cut through the black anodising...it really is one of the best examples you will find!

Since my ownership I have made a few improvements...

- I have changed the LX STI gear and brake levers for DX.
- I have changed the LX crankset for DX with black rings
- The mechs have both been changed for XT M735 front and rear in very good condition.
- Pedals are XT and very good also.
- New cassette.

Its had new cables all round, grips, new chain and a new seat and seat post

Also comes with Marin pro combo original tyres in very good condition.

You will not find a better condition example really needs to go to an enthusiast. This really is the best you will find!

Its a 19" from centre BB to centre toptube and would fit a 6ft ish type guy....

Whilst I know this is the top end for this bike I believe with the upgrades and the condition of this bike it is a fair price. A true collectors piece

The spec could be changed to reduce the costs e.g. the mechs could be changed back to LX for £25 off or the pedals left off for £20 less....

You know I would really love to Doug but off on holiday in a couple of weeks and just can't stretch. Good luck, I know it must hurt to say goodbye but let's hope it goes to a good home.

Not sure what she's worth? Is there a whats my XYZ partner worth thread? She's defo pre 1997 so would class as retro...her seatpost is not stuck and her bottom bracket is still tight and smooth, pretty much original spec...

...tell you what how about £260 and you get a free Eldridge?!
