For Sale 1990 GT Timberline now sold

I am selling my lovely 1990 GT Timberline in Granite paint finish. My plan was to keep it in the collection being so early but I really have too many so thinning some out!
It’s an 18 inch with the original Exage 300 LX groupset, Bio pace chainset and Exage u brake. It has the original Weinmann Bontrager wheels, the front has the snow flake twisted spoke design so possibly rebuilt at some point. The front wheel bearings are a bit rumbly but runs straight with no play. The things not original are the grips, tyres and saddle although they are age specific. It rides really well and has had a recent service, all shifters work well as do the brakes. The frame is built with Ishiwata chro mo tubes has all the original decals and only a few marks and tiny areas of rust. These could be cleaned back and touched in with a matching paint to hide them but it is really tidy for the age. The rear tyre has gone slightly out of shape but could be replaced with something more in keeping with the bike. It also has some Kalin bar ends fitted. Looking for £75 or best offer, collection from Coventry West Midlands.

Thank you. It’s a great colour and really solid good bike. Too big for me hence why I am selling. I tend to ride 14.5 or 16 but got this a while ago as it was so tidy and original. Need to thin a few out!!

You’re welcome! I was a 16” GT man. Best looking size IMHO as the top tube has a nice gentle slope to it.
