I have one of those frames, but not of that year and not an EX. It was hanging in the stacks at one of the local bike coops so I took it home. Someone had painted it over entirely with a white coating of some type. It is highly responsive to paint stripper. I'll keep it as a spare in case the current ride develops a frame failure.
