Ok, disclosure first.....
This bike was discussed here:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=320075&hilit=NOS+Saracen

Whether it was NOS or not at the time of the original sale, when I received it it was in very very good condition although far from Mint, it had simply not been stored very well methinks over the years and had probably been a shop demonstrator?

Anyhoo....I have no idea why I bought it and have too many projects so this is to be culled from the herd.

Up for sale is a British handbuilt 1988-89 lugged and fillet brazed Killiflyer frame with a later set of forks (they are the ones that were on the bike when I received it).
As you can see its not decalled as a KF, Saracen had a habit of throwing parts at old frames in an attempt to sell them BITD and calling them something else.

The frame serial number is T8907 0117 if anyone has a listing of such things and can check its ID?

Comes with a tired (scratched) Deore XT seat post that was with it along with a very good November 1991 Selle San Marco Contact System Gel seat (marked with Saracen on the rear).

Stem (1" Threaded) & handlebars that were on the bike and a partial headset, its missing the Crown Race only.

(The bike was complete as per the Ebay ad when I received it, it was stripped by me for the 'cheese and plastic groupset etc)

Size
Centre of Bottom bracket to Top of Seat tube 18.5"
Centre of Seat Tube to Centre of Head Tube 21.5"

£140 (friends/Gift) ono postage extra or collect from Newcastle/North Shields area.

Its original powder coat, and colour, just later decals, the Kiliflyer of this year was black for the Halfords Stock only.

If it was little cheaper Andy, Pm me.

at first memory wanted me to say (Halfords) Saracen Traverse , but looking at the decal and being put on pissed, I presumed this was put on with the later decals too.

I forget which year they changed from U brakes to Cantis too....

The serial number is very close to my 1989 Traffic Purple Kili Flyer which is stickered as Tange Prestige and also as a special edition.
The frame details look the same as well, though as said previously, not the forks.

Oh, and if anyone would like me to strip down a bike for them I'm happy to do so for £60. PM me for further information.

Change over from U-Brake to cantis took place in the 1990 range, the 1989 - 1990 brochure states/shows U-brake, 1990 brochure cantis.

Decals on the frame are not lacquered into the finish. As Sinnerman stated, its a powdercoat finish.
Decals are very thin, a mix of water slide and 'stickers'.

I'd be interested, as long as you keep the parts, seems only fair :D
