The shape certainly looks similar, but I've not seen one with that much rise. Having said that, someone will know I'm sure. I would expect someone to have hit BIN if they even suspected it could be a Cook Bros stem though.

It isn't too far from me, I was considering rescuing it but thought it might be too big a job!

The stem isn't cooks, it has a similar 'dog bone' shape, but I've seen another couple of these bikes and they came spec'd with this stem from new.
