Unlike before when it was "unlucky" for customs to stop things such as bikes coming through, now they stop almost everything to get their 20% slice

So suddenly a £500-£600 bargain from the states is now plus 20% then plus a delivery charge and plus the postage charge and that £500 "Bargain" now becomes a £800 purchase

so god knows what the silly $13,000 price would actually end up as by the time it fell onto your door mat. As an aside. $13,000?

If you said shipping was $1,000 then you're already looking at nearly £9k before tax and duty, so it will be over £11k before you set sights on it

price setting is arguably optimistic but not that silly in regards of the size and state of this one vs the last Cunnigham sold on eBay.
