1985 Stumpjumper right place right time

Hello all

Here's a few pics of an old stumpy for anyone interested in having a look. I believe it to be a 1985 and this one came my way courtesy of a local thrift store and I couldn't pass it up. It's not an '82 but has some pretty cool features nonetheless. I'm assuming the stem is Nitto but I've not seen one with Stumpjumper etched into it. mix of deerhead and suntour. even a little bit of fillet brazing at the seat stays.

I've seen others c. 1985 with the fast back seat stays and the S logo embossed (see below), but AFAIK only the Team Stumpies were made from Tange Prestige. Yours might just have the wrong sticker, or might be a really interesting missing link. Whatever it is - really nice find.
