Well done on this amazing period build. The attention to detail is only superseded by getting Hollister to cosceed: "Fair enough".

As you probably know Hollister, you can't solder cables that are made of stainless steel. The derailleur cables are stainless because it needed to be full length and thus is new, so they both have crimps. The brake cables on this bike are zinc-plated cables and therefore are soldered.

Do you have any zinc plated full length derailleur cables you are interested in selling?

I've been searching the forum for other Breezer builds and have come back with nothing.... I have only seen one replica build here?

Where are these other Series III's hiding? If you have a Series I,II or III, please post up a photo here.

Stunning build
How many of the original <100 are left in a rideable state

Btw Alpinestars had a similar threaded / clamp on stem idea on their 93 al xt models

From all our research doing this Series III I can count about 10 that have been documented and complete. Joe only made about 60 of these Series III frames...

I'd love to see some more come to the surface!

From First Flight's site, "A hundred Breezer Series III bikes were scheduled but only about 60 were produced for a total production run of about 95 hand built Breezer bikes. Production was later moved overseas for a run of bikes in the 1990's. In my opinion, the first 95 Breezers are among the most "collectible" mountain bikes produced."

Re:

Nice bike, giving me some inspiration for my breezer build.
Tell me about the cable outers, are they from 1983, I like them.
