I think it’s about 1986 as I had a muddy fox courier purple and white fade with the paw disc wheel in 1988 and had one of these mavericks before . I’ve just striped it down to the frame and had some paint mixed to match to touch it up, then cleaned and polished all the parts and used tin foil and fairy liquid to clean the chrome bars . The seat was rough so put a ltd brooks saddle on and managed to tin some tan coloured cables . I still have all the reflectors and sales book from new . I like these old Raleigh bikes as most have gone to landfill and most early mtb riders had these first as there was not a lot of choice back then . I have to thank my local bike shop Pearce cycles for finding this for me
