1978 Zieleman Type Special

Long time ago since I started a roadbike project. I bought this Zieleman in 2008. It is a circa 1980 frame. It came with full Nuovo Record. I will build it with the parts it came with. Ko Zieleman was an Amsterdam builder. Ko is the grandpa of sprinter Dylan Groenewegen.

I do like the colour. It has a nice, deep gloss.

That's a great looking example mate.
I am sure it will look pretty good once back together and ride every bit as good.

I have checked the serial#. The bike is from 1978.

Thanks all. The bike is in good shape, but not concours. The parts look in better shape than the paint. The paint is very bright, but there are some chips. Looking forward to riding it in a couple of weeks.

I have selected a Mavic stem for the Zieleman. Looks shiny after a polishing.
